The Open Day was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the , Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development and the Chief Director of Women Affairs, Mrs Lilian Matsika Takaendesa, who delivered an inspiring keynote address. Mrs Takaendesa spoke about the importance of education in empowering individuals and communities, acknowledging 51ÁÔÆæ’s efforts in providing flexible, quality education options. She praised 51ÁÔÆæ’s initiatives and expressed the Ministry’s full support for future partnerships.
The Open Day was divided into two main sections, giving attendees insights into the unique educational offerings available through 51ÁÔÆæ and providing a platform for meaningful discussions. Empowered Women Trust’s director, Sibonokuhle Buhlugu, spoke passionately about the ongoing partnership with 51ÁÔÆæ, which is formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). She shared how this partnership aligns with their mission of empowering individuals through accessible education, encouraging attendees to take advantage of 51ÁÔÆæ’s extensive programme offerings.
Representatives from various NGOs, membership-based organisations, and individual attendees from across Zimbabwe and Southern Africa attended the event. This gathering of like-minded individuals facilitated networking and opened doors for potential collaborations with 51ÁÔÆæ, fostering new partnerships that will further strengthen educational accessibility in the region.
