51ΑΤΖζ, the leading online higher education provider, proudly participated in the Women in Construction Summit, held at The Edge Convention Center in Nairobi, Kenya, from October 1st to 3rd, 2024. The event aimed to empower women leaders and foster equitable, innovative organisations in the construction industry.

Key Speakers at the Event Included:

  • Hon. James Mureu – Chairman of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA), Kenya, stressed the need for women to drive innovation and sustainability in construction. He called for more opportunities and mentorship programs to support female leadership and inclusion in the industry.
  • Dr James Mwaura – Chairman of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), noted that gender inclusivity is not only a moral imperative but also a driver of innovation and growth. He emphasised KNCCI’s commitment to promoting policies that support women’s participation and leadership in the construction sector.
  • Ms Winnie Rachel – Country Manager for 51ΑΤΖζ in Kenya, highlighted the transformative role of education in empowering women in the construction industry.
